30 before 30

  1. Go overseas with Pete (preferably Italy), which means getting a passport as well!
  2. Place at least five foster dogs in happy homes.
  3. Start house hunting with Pete.
  4. Try a new recipe at least once a month for a year (12/12).
  5. Learn how to can jam.
  6. Set up a 401k and invest for the future.
  7. Do more volunteer work.
  8. Start drawing comics again.
  9. Refurnish house with thrifted, revamped furniture. No more IKEA.
  10. Get wedding photos published on reputable blogs (Style Me Pretty, Ruffled…).
  11. Work on at least 50 weddings as a photographer.
  12. Have a professional collection of quality lenses and equipment.
  13. Work with Pete to paint and fix up the 2nd floor of our house.
  14. Transfer this blog to a WordPress format.
  15. Buy or restore a vintage bike and start riding together.
  16. Travel to another country again.
  17. Save up to have our kitchen and bathroom refinished.
  18. Go on a proper American road trip to the Grand Canyon.
  19. Go to the gym at least once a week.
  20. Sell 100 items in my Etsy shop.
  21. Go to the gym at least 3 times a week.
  22. Update my personal and photography blog at least once a week.
  23. Get my cholesterol level down to a healthy number.
  24. Get my first real Christmas tree with Pete and decorate it together.
  25. Learn how to navigate around Philly without needing a GPS (I have no sense of direction, it’s pathetic).
  26. Do a handstand in the pool (this would involve going underwater for more than 2 seconds without flailing).
  27. See a theater show in Philadelphia.
  28. Restore more antique furniture from flea market finds.
  29. Stop over-apologizing.
  30. Inspire someone else to write a 30 before 30 list.
